LEGISLATIVE OUTREACH & INITIATIVES
From the National Business Aviation Association
Relief Needed For Air Charter & Fractional Operators
scheduled airlines serving only ten-percent of our nation’s 5,000
airports, air carriers that provide charter services under Part 135 of
the Federal Aviation Regulations, and fractional providers operating
under Part 91 subpart K provide connectivity to thousands of communities
without scheduled service.
These companies are already facing significant business challenges, and as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, they will not be able to sustain operations without relief.
With a potential relief package being discussed in Congress, please contact your elected officials today and explain the critical role that general aviation plays in our air transportation system. Any relief package that includes the scheduled Part 121 air carriers must also provide assistance to air charter and fractional providers."
